Roger met with young talents

Yesterday has been a special day for 26 young talents in Swiss sports. For the first time, they could get very close to their sponsor and idol Roger. The youngsters had the opportunity to visit Roger at a training unit and having an interview session later on. The Roger Federer Foundation supports since many years the sponsorship program of the Stiftung Sporthilfe Schweiz in order to support talented young athletes in a financially weak position.

Congratulations also on your History Award;great to see such huge appreciation for you,especially at the place where the roots of rare genius were first planted,nourished,and nurtured-to flourish into magnificent maturity.Though the 'blooms' of this unique plant may(or not!) eventually be fewer,their beauty is even more precious and cherished by >9M people worldwide.Nameste,Roger.And Basel.

You are such a great champion! Not only on the court, off the court too, you are a true role model to follow! That's why you are my favorite and will always be. Please keep playing for all of us because we need you as fans more than tennis needs you. Its such a shame we haven't got anyone in Britain for our young tennis hopefuls to look up to like yourself, showing them sportmanship and style.
Guess as we all know there is and will only ever be one Roger Federer making us proud to say we are fans.
