Paris: the draw

07.11.2011 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Straight from Basel to Paris: Roger will play this year's last Masters 1000 tournament in Paris this week.

With a bye in the first round, he will compete against the winner of the match between France's Adrian Mannarino (ATP 83) and Russia's Dmitry Tursunov (ATP 39). He could meet another Frenchman in the second round: Richard Gasquet (ATP 18). Later, a meeting with Mardy Fish in the quarter-final would be possible. In the semifinals Roger could then play Andy Murray, the current world number three.

It's a hard tournament for you Roger but this year I think you are very close to win the tournament, the draw is good and you have to try to spend a few energy in order to have a great match on Saturday probably against Murray and eventually for the final. However you have to arrive to the top for the Atp World Tour Finals which would be very important to win for you. Come on Roger and good luck for Paris!!

Best of luck again in Paris. By the way, while your in London...there is an amazing Leonardo da Vinci exhibit at The National Gallery. They have miraculously gather 9 of the 15 paintings existing today (he only painted 20) and this exhibit has just opened. 9th November to 5th of February. It is a once in a lifetime event. This will never happen again. The whole family (three generations) will love it. Hope you read this. With you...always.
