Roger cruises through

Roger also won his third match in London, defeating Mardy Fish 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 today - continuing his impressive run at the ATP World Tour Finals.

"I've played Mardy a few times and he's always very dangerous," said Roger after the match. "He takes the ball extremely early, serves great and can get on roll. I was worried in the third set. I thought I was going to lose today but I'm very happy. It's been a great run since the US Open - I've been all round the world but I'm still going strong. Hopefully I can make it a nice weekend."

Roger started the match with the same kind of efficiency that helped him beat Rafael Nadal in just 60 minutes on Tuesday - our champ had three breaks in the first set. In the second set, Fish found his rhythm and played strong at the net, finally holding his nerve to seal the set. But Roger immediately took control of the deciding set by breaking Fish for a 2-0 lead and closed out the match in an hour and 47 minutes.

Roger will now play the runner-up from Group A in Saturday's semi-final.

Roger u r showing great character,maturity and leadership in leading the tennis world. U r a gREAT ROLE-MODEL.The new kids on the block are very brittle and crumbling like cookies. U r right when u said the load u r carrying for the past ten years is amazing.U have perfectly managed your schedule.At this stage of the season in 2011 u look as fresh and hungry for SUCCESS as ever.

The news kids think they can win by just playing physically.This will cost them dearly in the long-term.

Go on Roger, you can do it and I am with you all the way.
I would like to see Berdy defeat Tsonga but I think it will be a Federer/Tsonga final as well, which is dangerous. Roger can do it though and he wants this trophy!

I am afraid that you want to finish the game faster to have a proper rest for tomorrow but I know you concentrate only on today to get through in which you definitively will I have no doubt that you will smash them all

I think the final will be Federer Tsonga which is not easy if Fed takes ferrer in 3 sets but ferrer is dangrous player and we he gets chance he will not loose it
