Roger suffers clear defeat

Six of the world's best players are getting ready for the 2012 season at an exhibition in Abu Dhabi this week.

After a first round bye, Roger played Novak Djokovic in the semi-final today. After a tight opening, Djokovic soon began to settle into his stride and pulled away with a break of serve, before winning nine straight games. Unfortunately, Roger found no answer, letting the Serb streak away to a clear 2-6, 1-6 victory.  

The season will officially start next week, as Roger opens the new year by defending his Doha title.

Don't worry, Rog..... Never mind. Hope your usual preparlation.
New seaeon always have started by year end.
The tennis tours are unbelievably ridiculous but truly tough, sigh..

Good luck Roger. Beat Nadal tomorrow and in every match you play against him!

And btw, are you experimenting with a new racket? The frame you played with today seemed different :)

Hey Champ, it's obvious that you and Nadal clearly tanked your matches. Just keep yourself healthy and focus on lifting the Aussie Open trophy. 2012 is gonna be your year.

Dear Roger, Please forgive me for saying it. But the bump near your right temple makes me worried because it reminds me of the year 2008 when you had one on your right cheek. It makes me wonder if it's a sign of weak immune system. You don't usually seem to be well in the beginning of a year. Please be careful.
