Roger suffers clear defeat

Six of the world's best players are getting ready for the 2012 season at an exhibition in Abu Dhabi this week.

After a first round bye, Roger played Novak Djokovic in the semi-final today. After a tight opening, Djokovic soon began to settle into his stride and pulled away with a break of serve, before winning nine straight games. Unfortunately, Roger found no answer, letting the Serb streak away to a clear 2-6, 1-6 victory.  

The season will officially start next week, as Roger opens the new year by defending his Doha title.

cert roger wouldnt win this one surprised the bookmakers layed odds seen all this before roger is never going to get motivated for this type of circus must be getting good money for showing up

It's an EXHIBITION, people. Let's wait and see how Roger's game progresses in Doha. None of this has any bearing on the AO.

that's okay. please don't let this game demoralized you. that show you are a human being. Don't forget your aim for year 2012. There are a lot of trophies waiting for you. Move forward. Don't live in the past, just remember the best moment of 2011 and live in the future. wish all the best for year 2012. all the best
