Roger pulls out of semis

Dear Fans

Unfortunately, I had to take the decision to pull out of the semi-finals today in Doha. I had back spasms which I don’t want to aggravate. I am confident that with some treatment and exercise my back will recover fully.

Not to worry Roger, You got to do what you got to. And seeing it is only the second time in your very distinguished and spectacular career that you have pulled out of a tournament, it is no big deal.
I wish you speedy and full recovery for a spectacular AO. And want to see you win it again, and again next year.!!!!!
Shame i not going this year. Planning to go next year to see you win it again!!!!

It's very Sad to hear that you pull out of semis, but you must take best care of your self and get better for the First grand slam of 2012 next week. I am very dam sure that it's your grand slam

Hello Roger,
I feel bad and sad that you you must withdraw from the tournament, but, you got to do what you got to do.....
I wish you to be well soon and in the winning form. You have to win another several slams or anything else WISHING YOU WELL, MY GREAT CHAMPION.

Not a good start. If he get's hurt after 3 sets with Seppi this does not look good for the season. Age isr creeping up and recovcery takes loger. Not just Roger but other athletes (Kim C.). Still think you should retire near the top of your game. You had a good ending to last year but all the top players were hurt.

Dear Roger, I am so pleased you chose to make the wise choice to pull out of the match at Doha. Your health and body are much more important than any trophy, prize money or fan popularity. Be sure to get the right care and look after yourself. we, your fans and friends understand and only want to watch your games when your back is healed.
