Dear Fans

Unfortunately, I had to take the decision to pull out of the semi-finals today in Doha. I had back spasms which I don’t want to aggravate. I am confident that with some treatment and exercise my back will recover fully.

That was an amusing trophy ceremony, with some old champions of the Qatar Exxon Mobil Open.
YOU were of course very applauded by the public (almost as if you had been the winner) and
YOU were very attentive, telling the interviewer/animator that he had forgotten to let talk Stephan Edberg.

Missed you a lot in the semis and final but hope to see you 7 times in the AO!
