Roger voted greatest of |all time

The official website of the Australian Open published the result of an online-poll asking users "Who is the greatest men's player of all time?" this week.

Over 45'000 tennis fans participated in the poll, resulting in a fantastic victory for Roger as greatest player of all time!

Our champ received over 70% of the votes (33'000).

Second place - at quite some distance - goes to Rafael Nadal (5'700 votes). The Spaniard is followed by America's Pete Sampras (6%) and Rod Laver (4%). Roger met the Australian legend in Melbourne Park this week.

For many people in the world how loves the Tennis and for me, Roger is the eternal number 1, for some americans by an issue of nationality, will surely Pete but we all know that Roger is the best, as it is planted in a tennis court, his unique technique, by their titles, and above all his charisma and will be very difficult for than anyone even match it.

Roger!! much encouragement to keep you falling in love many people with your spectacular Tennis!!

Got that right!
I think part of being a great tennis player is not just the number of GS titles or ATP titles he's won, but also all the records Roger has set, many of which will probably never be equaled. And even more so the way he represents his sport & conducts himself, such a wonderful example for others as well as a very respected leader.

He always speaks well of his sport & tries to focus on the positives. His love & enthusiasm for tennis are infectious. He's such a gift for us all.

that's absurd...of course PETE SAMPRAS is greatest of all time, Roger doesn't have anywhere near the level of mentality of Pete possesses. Roger chokes against real contenders whereas Pete way surpasses opponents. As long as Djokovic and Nadal is healthy, Roger not gonna win any slam.

Dearest Roger, congratulations for this fantastic result. In my humble opinion, fans sometimes know better than so-called commentaters. No one who has seen you play can forget your beautiful game, which is pure joy to watch.
