Roger voted greatest of |all time

The official website of the Australian Open published the result of an online-poll asking users "Who is the greatest men's player of all time?" this week.

Over 45'000 tennis fans participated in the poll, resulting in a fantastic victory for Roger as greatest player of all time!

Our champ received over 70% of the votes (33'000).

Second place - at quite some distance - goes to Rafael Nadal (5'700 votes). The Spaniard is followed by America's Pete Sampras (6%) and Rod Laver (4%). Roger met the Australian legend in Melbourne Park this week.

Hey Champ! It's an obvious truth that you're the true GOAT. More than your records, the versatility of your playing style and grace speak of it. Tennis is not a street brawl but is called a Gentleman's game and you are a role model for that. It's a shame they even slowed down USO courts. Arthur Ashe used to be your territory and now it's everybody's due to slower courts. Hope they bring the variety of surfaces back to their original for all the Grand Slams.

I've been watching tennis for some time now and you are by far the most talented player I've seen on court. I admire the mental and physical stamina displayed by Nadal and Novak at the final, but the actual tennis was boring and predictable. I wonder what state they'll be in when they reach 30 yrs! You're the reason I still watch tennis Roger and I wish you all the best for the rest of the year!

tennis is getting more and more physical day by day and becoming very tiresome to watch with these type of slow courts and never ending rallies yesterday's final was a real test of patience and i could not watch it any more.for the so called patrons of power tennis i bet if they can withstand your power on real hard courts(i wonder if there are any left except for the indoors).so i don't care if you win another grand slam title or not you are always no1 that is the truth and truth prevails

YES YES I agree with the voting and who ever tries to follow you will never achieve what you have achieved over the years.
