Roger already in quarters

Roger started his quest for a second Rotterdam title with a solid 6-4, 6-4 victory against Frenchman Nicolas Mahut.

"After having lost my last matches against Rafael Nadal and John Isner, every win is currrently a good win. It is great to try to defend the title here after seven years."

Roger, who is playing in the event for the first time since winning it in 2005, has now already booked a spot in the quarter finals as Mikhail Youzhny - his next opponent - cannot compete due to a foot injury. He will now play Jarkko Nieminen on Friday.

Roger, take every win until the final and then get the tittle, take advantage of your great concentration spam for 3 sets and take advantage of the masters, then shoock the world in Paris by winning your second Roland Garros. Afrter the semifinals at Australia everyone has written you off from the circuit, probe everone wrong.

roger your are the kind of player who can carry the life of an entire tournament single-handedly.your mere presence in a tournament brings a glow and charm to it becoz of the following you enjoy from millions of fans from all parts of the world.and when you are not playing however big the tournament is it becomes dull and boring.wish you would continue playing for some more years to come
