Semis in Rotterdam

17.02.2012 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger sneaked past Jarkko Nieminen 7-5, 7-6(2) today to reach the semi-finals of the ATP tournament in Rotterdam.

Roger never got into trouble in his 13th match against Niemimen, not leaving him a single break-chance throughout the entire match. He did find the Finn's serve hard to pierce, and triumphed with just one break.

Roger will now play the winner of the match between Nikolay Davydenko and Richard Gasquet for a place in the final.

Good win, Roger! Exciting match, very good to watch, interesting how each of you upset the other's rhythm all the time. A fine challenge from Niemenon as always. Surely a great workout for you before the semi. GOOD LUCK TODAY, LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!!!! MUCH LOVE..>>>

Great game Rog; Niemenen's a good, solid player and was serving well: I like him too, he seems like a really nice guy, unlike Davydenko - I dislike his tennis and his attitude to be honest. He never misses a chance to say something unpleasant about you - jealousy of course. Anyway, beat him like you did before. Love as ever to our champ, xxxxxx
