Roger sneaked past Jarkko Nieminen 7-5, 7-6(2) today to reach the semi-finals of the ATP tournament in Rotterdam.

Roger never got into trouble in his 13th match against Niemimen, not leaving him a single break-chance throughout the entire match. He did find the Finn's serve hard to pierce, and triumphed with just one break.

Roger will now play the winner of the match between Nikolay Davydenko and Richard Gasquet for a place in the final.

Everybody just wants you to win every match. Before that 1) 31 years old is still just too young, 2) if you loose, loose differently. Why miss the same shots? 3) 2009 started strange, 2012 will end up better than 2009! c'mon

Onward - hope you oust Davydenko with great gusto. I am a bit tired of his mouth and hope very much that your tennis shuts it. Have a great match.

Liked the serve and volley agains the Fin but worried a bit about the net but good to see no breaks against you. Good job.
