Dubai: the draw

This week, Roger will play the tournament in Dubai, seeking a fifth title there.

Roger will open against France's Michael Llodra (ATP 50), whom he defeated in their only meeting last year in Toronto. In the second round, Roger could play Spain's Feliciano Lopez (ATP 16) before possibly meeting another Frenchman: Nicolas Mahut (ATP 84).

In the quarters, our champ could challenge Mardy Fish (ATP 8) and in the semis, a meeting with France's Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, recently having moved forward into the top 5 of the world, is possible. Juan Martin Del Potro, winner in Marseille and finalist in Rotterdam, is also a likely opponent in this stage. Novak Djokovic is in the other half of the draw, seeded as no. 1.

Great 1st set. 2nd set was not your best. One or two backhand winners in the tiebreak would've made it much easier. Also improve service return and 1st serve %. Lopez will get more first serves in and will be hard to break.

Saw your match against Llodra. You ae playing really well Roger and I have the feeling you really want to win this so just keep on playing like you did today and you will be fine.I really love the tennis shirt you had on. Go Roger!!!!
