Roger cruises into round 2

Roger moved into the second round in Dubai with a 6-0, 7-6(6) victory over Michael Llodra today.

Our champ startet fantastically, winning the first eleven points of the match and closing the opening set after a mere 18 minutes. In the second set, Roger had to battle here and there as both players held their serve and Roger also had to fight off a break-point. In the tiebreaker Roger then made everything clear after 67 minutes of play.

Next up is a clash with Spain's Feliciano Lopez (ATP 15). Our champ leads the head-to-head 9-0.

Hi Roger, You did make a good judgement on the first set specially Llorda is at his prime now. On the second set, he tried to figjt back, but he wasn't able to win because he was tired. Good Luck. God bless you.

Dear Rogerrrrrrrrrrrrrr,

I wish Kuwait would host a tournament too. Love your match against Llodra but it seems that Llodra could not warm up early. Watch out, the matches can only get tougher. You better play the same way, full of confidence, dig deep into the game of tennis, discover yourself! Get back to number one!!! Good luck!!!

Hi Roger, you are fantastic and Marvelous. LLorda is at his prime now but you were able beat him 18 minutes in the first set , smart thinking and at the second set, he was able to come back. But with your mindset and your game plan, you need to win the game quick in order that you have more time to rest for the next game. You need time to sleep and rest for your next game.
