Roger reaches the next round in Madrid

Roger beats Robin Soderling in an inspired match and reaches the quarter-finals. Neither player showed any sign of weakness on their serve and went to a tie break in both sets. At these key moments Roger produced his customary push to win the tie break 7-5 in set one and 10-8 in set two. He will meet Robby Ginepri in the quarter-finals after the American defeated world number eight Tommy Robredo 6-3 7-6.

Congratulations on winning your match against a spirited Soderling.
Both served very well but as you mentioned in you interview, you had your chances[8 break points in all] Never mind the true champion won and that is all that matters

I won't get to see a masters cup match until the shanghai event. I can still cheer Roger on regardless. I'm there in spirit. Congrats on the match win against Soderling and go get Ginepri.

Dear Roger,

I think you should work a lot on mental strengthness so it will match up your great stroke playing , otherwise ..very dificult to maintain good performance to the end of match.
