Semis in Dubai
01.03.2012 | Tennis, Starseite 1
Roger sneaked past Mikhail Youzhny 6-3, 6-4 today to reach the semi-finals in Dubai.
"I just played well on my service games", Roger said the match. "I think the speed of the courts here helps with that. I think I also have a good focus this week. So I have to keep it up if I want to win the title," he said.
Just as in the last two matches against Llodra and Lopez, Roger was dominant on serve. So he needed just one break of serve to cruise through the opening set - in 32 minutes. Another break in the first game of the second set secured Roger the 12th win over Russia's Youzhny.
Our champ will either play Juan Martin Del Potro (ATP 8) or Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (ATP 5) on Friday for a place in the final.

Roger luck is always on your side, you are fortunate, you are lucky. We just live in an uncertain universe. The time when you were winning everything it was simply because you were better than everybody and now you still the best the thing is that you made everyone to get better; they had to improve to even have a chance with you. And also sometimes is just that balance has to prevail.
All the best for the semis! Go get it! Take care.
I love you…
Thank you much appreciated--I equally enjoy your comments that appear to me to come straight from the heart.
I love tennis and naturally have supported Roger even before he dyed is hair blond--

Margaret

I hope you'll enjoy your tennis and play in good health in the semi as well. GOOD LUCK!!
Wish you all the best
What an enjoyable match to watch between 2 cool calm as a cucumber players each playing their NATURAL style of tennis.
Mikkail has a wonderful smooth, lethal backhand, not as good as Ken Rosewall but none the less, very good.
Your 2nd serve is wonderful--the saying 'you are ONLY as good as your 2nd serve'
it was always good, now excellent. We remember Pat Rafter & Pete Sampras [2nd serve]
Wishing you all of the very best for your S/F
Kindest regards
Margaret
Good luck against Del Potro.
God bless!
