Swiss take 2-1 lead

23.11.2014 | Tennis, Starseite 1

The Swiss Davis Cup team showed an overwhelming display today to take their country 2-1 ahead of France. Roger and Stan were at their best today, clearly defeating Benneteau/Gasquet 6-3, 7-5, 6-4.

The two decisive singles are scheduled for tomorrow: Roger will start at 1.00 p.m. against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. Hopefully the other singles between Stan Wawrinka and Gaël Monfils will not be necessary.
