An almost perfect match
26.10.2006 | Tennis
Roger easily made his way into the quarter-finals of the Swiss Indoors. He won his 21st match in a row, beating Spain's Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-2, 6-0 in just 52 minutes.
Roger was flawless as expected at the event where he has lost two finals. "I can't believe how well I'm playing," he said after reaching an 84-5 record this season. "The match went so quickly, I just did everything well." He even spoke of having displayed an almost perfect performance.
Roger’s opponent in the quarter finals tomorrow should not be too tough to beat. Roger leads the head-to-head 4-0 against the 24 year old David Ferrer. In a total of 8 sets played Roger has only had to drop eleven of 75 games. Ferrer has not won a single set against Roger so far.

Congratulation for this match against Guillermo Garcia-Lopez. It was very good and just after your perfect week from Madrid. Are you not tired?
You will certainly win this Swiss Indoor. I wish you good luck for the rest of the week.

Your web-site now has nearly 90,000 members: amazing. Why don't you award a special prize to the 100,000 member (e.g. VIP day with Roger? at AUSTRALIA or RG)
best wishes

This is just brilliant tennis you are playing right now- and without using much energy. On this kind of form, why not play Paris and Shanghai: I can't see who can beat you, if you execute your shots.
best wishes
