Roger battles through
09.05.2012 | Tennis, Starseite 1
Roger came from a set down to beat Milos Raonic 4-6 7-5 7-6 (7-4) in the second round of the Madrid Masters today.
Roger had a rough day today, especially due to the young Canadian's serve - he fired 21 aces in a match that lasted just over two hours. Raonic reached a 100%-quote on points won upon first serve that landed in the field. Roger only saw his first break point towards the end of the second set. Fortunately, he improved on his own serve gradually throughout the match and was eventually able to wrap everything up in the tie-breaker.
Roger will now meet Richard Gasquet (ATP 18) in the third round in Spain's capital. Our champ won nine out of the eleven matches the two have played - losing 2 out of 3 on clay, though.

Hold on tight and take down Gasquest today !!! BONNE CHANCE !
I couldn't watch your match because of the time difference, but it might have been good for my heart!
Well done, Roger, you are a true champion. Hope you will be blessed with a little easier win tonight.
God bless you.
All my love,
Keiko
