Roger cruises into quarters

Roger got by Richard Gasquet 6-3, 6-2 to book a spot in the quarters in Madrid. Our champ broke the serve of Gasquet three times, while the Frenchman struggled to find his rhythm. Roger scored 10 aces and was able to wrap up the victory in just 58 minutes.

Next up will be David Ferrer on Friday.

1-My beautiful Roger you played so great, it went by in a hurry. Solid from start to finish, you didn't let him do a thing. Great shots and great strategy to go around the surface. And wrapping up with three incredible aces none the less! I enjoyed it so much! Endless talent and intelligence you keep on displaying!

2-I haven't been able to read the full transcripts of your news conferences as they call them now, these people insist on this :( they are nowhere to be found. So much trouble, why can't they share that little thing with us, it is our only miserable way to know what's on your mind. Anyway I can only collect bits and pieces from the very few fragments they publish, and the very short videos, well at least that. Greedy press unable to understand the consumers of the sport!

4-And you met Kaka, great. How much fun! And by the way I guess you are rooting for the Chelsea for the Champions final, me too after what the Bayern did to our great FC Basel! It's only fair! They got a good team; we'll see what happens.

5-Arnica tea is great for the inflammation and muscle pain and it tastes good. I drink it, it works, but can you drink that? It is just a simple infusion like chamomile. I researched and as far I understood it is not on the IOC/WADA prohibited drugs list but still ask your doctor first.
