Roger breezes into semis

Roger powered past Andreas Seppi today, winning the quarter-final in Rome 6-1, 6-2.

Roger ended the crowd favourite's dream run to the quarter finals with a superb display. It took him just 19 minutes to take the opening set. Seppi started the second set stronger but Roger continued to dominate play and had no problems wrapping up the match thanks to a total of 25 winners and 4 breaks. He won 81% of the points on his first serve, proving he is in great shape.

Roger set up a semi-final encounter with Novak Djokovic. It is the first time that the two meet since their epic encounter last year at the US Open.

Congrats Roger. Great match against Seppi. Novak is in excellent form. If you play like how you did against seppi then Nole has no chance of overpowering you. Best of luck against Nole. Go win the title Champ!!!

congrats champion! now u gotta win against the djoker.he is not in that good form as compared 2 u.ofcourse u can beat him today rog.dont lose match pts lyk u did in the last encounter wid djoker.u can beat him easily.keep healthy,play safe.all the best 2 u n ur team..
