Roger breezes into semis
18.05.2012 | Tennis, Starseite 1
Roger powered past Andreas Seppi today, winning the quarter-final in Rome 6-1, 6-2.
Roger ended the crowd favourite's dream run to the quarter finals with a superb display. It took him just 19 minutes to take the opening set. Seppi started the second set stronger but Roger continued to dominate play and had no problems wrapping up the match thanks to a total of 25 winners and 4 breaks. He won 81% of the points on his first serve, proving he is in great shape.
Roger set up a semi-final encounter with Novak Djokovic. It is the first time that the two meet since their epic encounter last year at the US Open.

Please beat him.You can do it.
Show him who's the number 1 !!!
Good luck against Djokovic. Remember the US Open.
Always with you.
Breezing through is the right word indeed! No time wasted there in order to get out of the cold and humid evening back into the locker room. Very late matches for you this week, which doesn't seem completely fair, because your opponents get to play during day time in the sun and the warmth. Not the best circumstances and not the best visibility. I am starting to prefer the blue clay of Madrid.... :-)
Excellent play! Keep it up for the SF! All the best of luck!

Play to win, don't think twice but think of the future shots instead of just shooting, think what you will do next.. the next shot, good luck!!
