Roger breezes into semis
18.05.2012 | Tennis, Starseite 1
Roger powered past Andreas Seppi today, winning the quarter-final in Rome 6-1, 6-2.
Roger ended the crowd favourite's dream run to the quarter finals with a superb display. It took him just 19 minutes to take the opening set. Seppi started the second set stronger but Roger continued to dominate play and had no problems wrapping up the match thanks to a total of 25 winners and 4 breaks. He won 81% of the points on his first serve, proving he is in great shape.
Roger set up a semi-final encounter with Novak Djokovic. It is the first time that the two meet since their epic encounter last year at the US Open.

Go On Champ!

Thank You God And Thank You Roger!
Yes You Can Do It Maestro!
What can I write? Early this am we watched Roger Federer at his very best.Clinical performance and brilliant display of both your talent and every aspect of your equisite tennis. The volley 5th game 2nd set breathtaking.
Interesting your/Seppi match 6-1.6-2 -55 minutes --other person/s 6-1.6-1 88 minutes.
What a wonderful interview that you gave whilst in Rome--I enjoy them [interviews] as much as your tennis.
Wishing you all of the very best for S/F
Kindest regards
Margaret
