Roger breaks Connors' record
Roger beat Romania's Adrian Ungur 6-3, 6-2, 6-7(6), 6-3, today to book his spot in the third round at Roland Garros and also pass Jimmy Connors' record of 233 wins at majors!
"I expect myself to win and I usually manage to do it. It's not like that at the start of your career when you think you are good enough but you are not that good yet," Roger said after the match.
Roger was clearly in command in the first two sets, making a speedy way to victory today. But as the third set went into the tie-break Ungur first saved two match points to then come alive and take the match into a fourth set. But Roger soon managed his first break and left the Romanian no more room to catch up, wrapping everything up nicely after 2 hours 27 minutes.
Roger will face either Slovakia's Martin Klizan (ATP 70) or Nicolas Mahut (ATP 89) of France for a place in the last 16.

Sincerilly I want to see Roger playing against Rafa Nadal in the final.
More good luck luck dear Roger!!!!
Congrats for this amazing record!! All the best for the further rounds!

It looks like it's hot on court I really can't stand the heat I find so impressive the way you handle it, incredible endurance. You're so strong, and your outfit is really well tailored, your beautiful broad shoulders look incredible. ;)
