Tennis Masters Cup

08.11.2006 | Tennis

Roger will get the chance to avenge last year's Masters Cup final defeat when he meets Argentine David Nalbandian in the opening match on Sunday. Roger was drawn in the same Red Group as Nalbandian, Croatia's Ivan Ljubicic and American Andy Roddick for the round-robin stage of the season-ending event for the top eight men.

World number two Rafael Nadal tops the Blue Group, which also includes in-form Russian Nikolay Davydenko, Spain's Tommy Robredo and American James Blake.

Good luck Rogi. =) I have strong instincts that you'll win this time against Nalbandian. =)

Imagine, you're in Shanghai and I'm just in the Philippines. Knowing that you're in Asia makes me smile. =) I hope to meet you in person. =)

Roger employs a versatile, all-court playing style and can hit all of the fundamental shots very well. He is an adept volleyer and an excellent baseliner who can dictate play with precise groundstrokes. Uff, so Roger has everything to win the Masters Cup.

Hi Roger,

Once again the draw has been done and surprise you have the tough draw yet again, nadal seem's to get away with it in every tournament but saying that Davydenko has been playing very well and he could beat nadal if he is playing anything like
