Out against Djokovic

08.06.2012 | Tennis, Starseite 2

Roger suffered a 4-6, 5-7, 3-6 loss against Novak Djokovic in the semi-final of the French Open today.

"I was actually feeling particularly well in the second set, and that one hurts the most to lose," Roger said. "In the third, I don't know, I just wasn't able to put a good game together anymore. You're down two sets to nothing against Novak and it's not the same match anymore. He goes for broke and has no fear and that's about it."

Roger had a good start by breaking Djokovic early in the first set but receiving the re-break in return. Djokovic secured the first set with yet another break. In the second, Roger broke Djokovic again for a 3-0 lead but the world no. 1 took 13 of the next 18 games, constantly putting Roger under pressure. In the third set, Djokovic piled up four breaks to eventually seal his victory after 2:05 hours.

The only point I am trying to make is that of course it is the same match because you are ROGER FEDERER.. Best tennis player ever. One of a kind. There will not be a 2nd Roger. Many people will try to imitate you as Novak and Nadal do but they’ll never reach you..

Ok guys, you are over-analyzing why Roger lost against Novak. That’s ok. He can lose. It’s not the end of the world. I am saying what I am saying here only because my heart was broken when I heard him say that being down 2 sets against Novak, it’s not the same match anymore.

Come-on Djoko! You clawed your way back into the match. You deserve to win this final. 2-1 up on serve in the 4th. You can always get Nadal if you stay calm and believe in your victory. See here again, Nadal is the guy who complained and stopped the match. And he's gonna do that again and again in the future when he's falling. He just need a reason. Weather, time-out, blah, blah.... This proves further and further that Nadal can play well only under certain circumstances.

Correction: I meant to say that Nadal ain't unbeatable in clay..

(Continued) ... best net expert -compared to your opponent's 75 7-If you cannot convert more than 70 percent of your break point chances,
You cannot win a match even though YOUR NAME is Roger Federer and your opponent's NAME IS NOT Novak Djokovic!

1- If you let your opponent like Djokovic break your serve even though you are 1-0 ahead as in the first set. 2- (Even worse) If you cannot go ahead and win the set when you are 3-0 ahead as in the second set. 3- If you cannot convert 3 break points to make it 5-2 as in the second set 4-If your first service percentage is NOT above 80 per cent 5-If your unforced errors are 43 total -when your opponent's is only 17... 6- If your net approaches are only 56 -even though you are well known to be the

just like Djoko is trying to do in today’s match against Nadal.. I am not trying to make any special point here, just want to tell Roger again and again how special he is. We love you Roger.. xxx

Thank you GONÇALO.. I don’t know what these guys are doing on Roger’s site. I want Djokovic to win as well and this is not because I like him. Actually, I don’t like him at all (both his play and character). But this will bring our Roger a bit further up in the ranking  and will certainly help Roger realize (even though I am pretty sure he has realized it already) that Nadal ain’t unbeatable and even when our Roger was 2 sets down to Djoko he could have turned things around just like

Come on, guys! Get real! Djoko must win this final. If that happens, our Roger will get ranking 2 tomorrow!

I can't stand Djoko's parents either. Apple does not fall far from the tree, looks like he is turning this match around. Nadal let him back in to the match, now he will pay the price. Hope Nadal still has it in him to win this match. It will be disappointing to go up 2 sets and 2-0 in the 3rd and lose the match.
