Tiger's invitation

Roger and Tiger Woods have become friends since their first meeting in New York earlier this year. After having hosted Tiger in his box during the US Open it was not time for Roger to follow Tiger on the golf course.

 

Our star enjoyed the final seven holes of Tiger’s opening round at the HSBC Champions Tournament in Shanghai. Unfortunately the result was not too good – but who would know better than Roger how tough it is to always perform 100% at the highest level.

 

“At least he played well then,'' Tiger smiled as he spoke to reporters, referring to the US Open. “I just slashed it around all over the place. For him to come and watch is special, it's nice of him to take the break in his preparations. I'd love to play golf with Roger but would prefer to play tennis.''

It only goes to show T.W. is human...not a problem...May be R.Federer's presence made the Tiger woods bit nervous !!!...

Congratulation on the win against Nalbandian. I stayed up late simply keeping vigil in front of my PC because the stupid networks here in the U.S. do not appreciate tennis. ESPN showed some stupid type o

No wonder, it'll be great to watch these two Greats play together, Golf or Tennis. We are waiting to see that happening.

Good luck in Shanghai Roger, it's true what you said, the Masters is really such a dangerous tournament this year, every player there has something different to offer (I'm sure it will be a fantastic tournament, the Chinese fans or just the fans in regula
