Final in Halle

Roger cruised past Russia's Mikhail Youzhni 6-1, 6-4 today to book a spot in the final in Halle.

Roger was never really in danger, dominating play in the first set. He continued in just the same manner in the second, fighting off three break points, though, to make everything clear after exactly 60 minutes on his fourth match ball.

Roger will play his 105th final tomorrow. He will either meet Philipp Kohlschreiber, who defeated Rafael Nadal in the quarters, or Tommy Haas, who won against Tomas Berdych.

Boting, maybe, I don't know, IMO he is not 100 percent fit after Indian Wells, he won Madrid because of his talent, but with his body wasn't at 100%. He doesn't run too much, he had some flu last week (at Frech Open). IMO his break after Miami wasn't a good ideea..too long break. He thinks that he can win without forcing, and that made today. Remember at 4-4 second set, 40-15 he had two mistakes, because he didn't want to force...

Roger's gonna do it like Sampras: When you don't expect it, he'll come back and win one more last major (like US Open 2002).

Im not insulting his past my word I am starting to see why people hate Federer fans all fans are stupid people. Federer is a wonderful player, however in this era he is firmly number three who gets the scraps from the top two FACT if anyone insults me on that you guys really are stupid

You get a life. He can win masters tournaments and also the other tournaments. It is not all about grand slams. I wished him luck in the future life and in his sport career. With what I am distroying Roger's confidence ? Do you have some problems with your brain ? I wish Roger to win 100 grand slams if it is possible. do you think that it is possible. I wish him all the best. But I am not the optimist about seeinh hiim winning grand slams. I would be the happiest man if he do so.

rogfedfan.....we dont need to know from a foul mouthed person like u tht roger didnt play well............if this tournament wud actually hav been tht important we wud hav seen more effort from roger........the pt is he beat better players than haas to get here..........also at his age its not possible for him to play on consecutive weeks......we saw wht happened in rome and the same has happened here

has always worked very hard to to continue playing the sport that he loves with sheer determination-- RG 2009 was a good example.
I am not at all surprised that he beat Roger this evening as we have watched all of his[Tommy] matches this week --he has played very well. In one of his interviews he said that he was feeling well, enjoying playing with NO injuries.
Roger gives credit where it is due, we should do likewise, the better player won not allowing Roger to play his game.

Hey Champ, it's good that you got enough match practice on grass. Now rest well and focus on Wimbledon. It's ok if you wanna lose to your good friend but don't let this loss affect your confidence. Your match against Raonic shows that you're in good form. I don't take anything out of today's match. Be in good shape for Wimbledon.

RogFedFan1991 and other Fed haters: Go and celebrate at your idol's site. Clearly you are not Roger's fans. Don't litter here with your nonsense.
