Final in Halle

16.06.2012 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger cruised past Russia's Mikhail Youzhni 6-1, 6-4 today to book a spot in the final in Halle.

Roger was never really in danger, dominating play in the first set. He continued in just the same manner in the second, fighting off three break points, though, to make everything clear after exactly 60 minutes on his fourth match ball.

Roger will play his 105th final tomorrow. He will either meet Philipp Kohlschreiber, who defeated Rafael Nadal in the quarters, or Tommy Haas, who won against Tomas Berdych.

Seriouly. Whats the fight all about.... for previous three straight wins on body questioned him at all i.e. why roger didnt have an easy win against mayer, why roger dropped a set against raonic, why roger was broken when serving for the match against youzhny....his serve percentage? Then aswell he was serving around 66-69%. But people only talk/judgemental when he has a bad day or plays bad, obviously no one likes to lose.

ROGFEDFAN1991...his career is written in history, btw...what about you? What have you done in your life? You are nobody, NOBODY, nothing, that is embarassment, not that Federer is lossing in final, and Nadal in Qf...

TUNA4444 you wouldn't have any right to say anything bad about Roger. In the same way you don't have any right to destroy Roger's confidence by saying that he won't win any other grand slam. Get a life

Dear Roger
You lost to the better player today! Tommy Haas deserved to win, though I'm very unhappy because of that you didn't play well! If you are not hurt when falling it would be good.Take a rest and prepare for Wimbledon! You are far better player from all of them, only today you were not good!Shame!
Wish you all the best and good luck dearest Roger!
Love, Mimi

Free world I can say what I like and call myself what I like. I have no desrespect of his past achievements but he should just go and save himself the embarassment of ruining his career.

Hello Roger
One wonders sometimes if many on this site know ANYTHING about tennis and or other players.
Tommy Haas is a very good player has been all of his playing career--reached no 2 some years ago-- has has numerous injuries & surgeries BUT has fought his way back after, on many occasions, long lay offs. When he was no 2 his parents involved in a seriuos accident--Tommy took many months off to care for them.
What I am saying he loves playing tennis & in spite of his numerous adversities
