Final in Halle

16.06.2012 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger cruised past Russia's Mikhail Youzhni 6-1, 6-4 today to book a spot in the final in Halle.

Roger was never really in danger, dominating play in the first set. He continued in just the same manner in the second, fighting off three break points, though, to make everything clear after exactly 60 minutes on his fourth match ball.

Roger will play his 105th final tomorrow. He will either meet Philipp Kohlschreiber, who defeated Rafael Nadal in the quarters, or Tommy Haas, who won against Tomas Berdych.

ULTRASTARK you just spoke for all Roger's true fans..
It's OK he lost a match, so what?
All these people are just idiots and they should get a life.
I bet they know nothing about tennis.

to me it looked like you wanted him to win. this is a very nice victory for tommy haas at his age, at this tournement in his own country..

you did the right thing roger. it shows what a great person you are!

Respect

But I think that he doesnt. Rofer, good luck in your life whatever you will do.

I think that he doesnt have the will anymore. It is obvious. If he is satisfied with his level and wants to play, let him play. But I wont watch him anymore, because it is too bad for my health. This level of play is for about 30th place in the world right now. He is slower then Haas who is 3, 4 years older, shots are slow, service was really bad, return was disaster today and beckhand was standar as always, that means bad. It is as it is. If he still has a will to play, then it is ok

Oh man, it's always the same thing. Whenever he's lost a match or is about to lose one, so many people say he should retire. Enough already. Of course he's gonna lose matches, it's perfectly normal. He had a good week, didn't play well today, so what? It happens. But I don't like the fact that people here question EVERYTHING then. True fans are with him all the time, not only when he's winning. And some of you only post comments here when he's lost but never congratulate him. I hope you're proud

You reached the final and that's a great accomplishment. Don't let these people take the best of you.. Nadal lost very early! I didn't see anybody commenting on this.. Do you know why? Because Nadal ain't special.. Whereas you are! If you take some time please watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FKIDgAfJ80 and understand why people don't allow you to lose.. See why you should never quit or let your opponent take the best of you.. I love you Roger.
I look forward to seeing you

cant believe you couid play as bad as that hass is a part timer rogers game is awful looked a slow tired player to me.no way any other player in the top ten would lose to hass.wont reach the last eight at wimby playing like that he couldnt keep the ball in the court its time to really look at his game that was a disaster not the same player cant even return the ball of second serves.ive never seen roger as bad as that maybe its time to call it a day embarrassing.
