In round three with ease
27.06.2012 | Tennis, Starseite 1
Roger cruised into round three at Wimbledon with a very clear 6-1, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Italy's Fabio Fognini today.
Roger had the honour of playing in front of Prince Charles and Camilla today, saying it was a great feeling to do so. And he was sure to impress the Royal box, firing 13 aces and wrapping up the win in just an hour and a quarter. Roger also kept up his incredible streak of never having lost in round two at a Grand Slam in his career.
Aiming at matching the record of seven Wimbledon men’s titles set by William Renshaw in the 1880s and tied by Pete Sampras in 2000, Roger will next meet either 29th-seeded Frenchman Julien Benneteau or American Michael Russell.

Congratulations! What a match! But your opponent really played well! He thought he could have won!!! But you awoke! And played pretty well! Till the end! Thank you for this win, we can sleep better th next two days!!! Pay attention to your health! It's the most important!!!

Amazing match, Benneteau really proved he can play well but you proved that even though you were very numb in the first 2 sets you could still come back and play exceptional tennis.. You are a great fighter and to be honest I was not expecting anything less from you..
I LOVE YOU ROGER..
