In round three with ease
27.06.2012 | Tennis, Starseite 1
Roger cruised into round three at Wimbledon with a very clear 6-1, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Italy's Fabio Fognini today.
Roger had the honour of playing in front of Prince Charles and Camilla today, saying it was a great feeling to do so. And he was sure to impress the Royal box, firing 13 aces and wrapping up the win in just an hour and a quarter. Roger also kept up his incredible streak of never having lost in round two at a Grand Slam in his career.
Aiming at matching the record of seven Wimbledon men’s titles set by William Renshaw in the 1880s and tied by Pete Sampras in 2000, Roger will next meet either 29th-seeded Frenchman Julien Benneteau or American Michael Russell.

I think Benneteau losing that 4th set did him in. He lost his mojo and his shot making and Federer gained his momentum back. It's entertainment now that Roger is derving for the match. Congrats my artful, dodgeful Roger. You dodged a bullet tonight
