In round three with ease

27.06.2012 | Tennis, Starseite 1

Roger cruised into round three at Wimbledon with a very clear 6-1, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Italy's Fabio Fognini today.

Roger had the honour of playing in front of Prince Charles and Camilla today, saying it was a great feeling to do so. And he was sure to impress the Royal box, firing 13 aces and wrapping up the win in just an hour and a quarter. Roger also kept up his incredible streak of never having lost in round two at a Grand Slam in his career.

Aiming at matching the record of seven Wimbledon men’s titles set by William Renshaw in the 1880s and tied by Pete Sampras in 2000, Roger will next meet either 29th-seeded Frenchman Julien Benneteau or American Michael Russell.

My hypertension level is currently under control. Federer wasn't tried in his previous two matches. ome how he needed this challenge to prepare him into next week because it gets tougher from there. Bravo Roger, just keep holding serve now cos it's not over until it's over.

This is it, only a major catastrophe would change the course of this match. Roger you were lucky today, you need to get your things straight, 2 amazing matches and today has been sub-standard. Still, you are the best tennis player ever.
