The perfect statistic
Roger won his eighth straight match over Ivan Ljubicic 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 and has moved to 11-3 over the Croatian. He finished the group stage with a perfect 3-0 record, completing his fifth edition of round-robin play at a season wrapup event without a loss, improving his record in group competition to 15-0.
"I only knew five minutes before the match that I had qualified," said Roger. "Maybe that's why I got broken in the first game. It took some time to realise that I was out there again playing.
"But I really wanted to keep my fantastic streak alive. I'm happy I came through. It gives me confidence for the semis."
Roger and David Nalbandian will meet the first two players of the other group. James Blake has already booked his ticket with two victories; Rafael Nadal und Nikolaj Dawydenko are still fighting for their place.

Congratulations for your great victory,
good luck in the semis
I'm sure you'll be the best again!
xxx,
Youli
I'm nervous about the semi because it's Nadal, but I believe that you have a very good chance of making that H2H 6-3! Lately you've been playing better than Nadal so be confident.
I wish you all the best.
GOOD LUCK!!!
Once again i want to wish you all the luck in the world tomorrow against nadal i know you can win it's just the matter of being aggressive from the start to the end don't let that stupid fist pumping that he does get to you it's all an act
Tomorrow your opponent will be Nadal,... win that match, please!!! Is very important to me! Will be a personal favour... You can do it!
Good luck, Joni.
its great to watch you play tennis, those commanding shots and amazing returns and winners.

GREAT GREAT ROGER!!!
I look forward to next season. Take Care.

Now it gets interesting, show Nadal who is the real deal here! Be very aggressive from the get go and play your game! Keep him guessing and really push him back from the baseline which he doesn't really like. You can do it Champ! Best of luc
