Roger vs. Rafa

Roger will face Rafael Nadal in the semifinal of Shanghai. The Spaniard rallied to beat Nikolay Davydenko 5-7, 6-4, 6-4

 

Roger is 2-6 overall against Nadal, the only player in the Masters draw with a winning record against our Swiss star. Nadal said he was in good shape and confident he'd be fit for Saturday's semifinal against Roger. "To be in the semifinals is very important for me," he said.

 

Roger is on a 27-match winning streak and will be more confident on hard courts against Nadal and with an extra day of rest. Roger had ended a five-match losing streak against the Spaniard when he beat Nadal in the Wimbledon final.

Roger is the best ! We all love you. We always believe you have all the weapons to put the young chap away, but lack a bit of luck. In fact you could have beat him in Rolan Garras. It's sp close then. Your match against Nadal is getting better and better.
