Roger will face Rafael Nadal in the semifinal of Shanghai. The Spaniard rallied to beat Nikolay Davydenko 5-7, 6-4, 6-4
Roger is 2-6 overall against Nadal, the only player in the Masters draw with a winning record against our Swiss star. Nadal said he was in good shape and confident he'd be fit for Saturday's semifinal against Roger. "To be in the semifinals is very important for me," he said.
Roger is on a 27-match winning streak and will be more confident on hard courts against Nadal and with an extra day of rest. Roger had ended a five-match losing streak against the Spaniard when he beat Nadal in the Wimbledon final.
Try to do your best against Nadal, take it as a challenge, have fun when you play him, he is a strong opponent, it would be interesting to beat him. GOGOGOGO
