Round two in London
Roger had to fight in the opening round of the Olympic tournament at the All England Club today, defeating Colombia's Alejandro Falla 6-3, 5-7, 6-3.
"It's great coming back (after winning Wimbledon), but it's so much harder to do it again in the first round knowing that every match for me is like a final. I'm really relieved and hoping to keep it up," Roger said.
Our champ seemed to absolve the first round with ease, when he allowed Falla back into the match after wasting three match points in the second set. He was then pushed hard by the world number 51 in the decider before sealing a tougher than expected win on his fifth match point.
Roger will now face Julien Benneteau in the last 32. Roger had to come from two sets down to win against the Frenchman in this year's Wimbledon.

Good luck in match against Benneteau!!
I didn't manage to see any of your match against Falla but made up for it by seeing you and your lovely wife watching Stan in his match against Murray. I was shouting for Stan, not very patriotic I know , but I don't support Murray even though I am part Scottish. Best of luck today Darling

good you went through a difficult first round: it's always a little tricky,
as usual enjoy the atmosphere and the Olympics: you are there because you deserve to be there, then just play your tennis and feel good,
don't think too much about "the finals" because all matches are great!
you are the best no matter what, don't spoil your moment letting the pressure crack your confidence, take care Ale
I'm very happy to watch you always! Hope you are healthy and fit enough for your match vs Julien Benneteau I am sure you'll do your best and not allow any surprise we are not ready for!!! The same for your match with Stan in doubles! You have the tough opponents!
Hope you'll win the both matches!
Wish you all the best and good luck dearest Roger!
Go, Roger, goooooooooooooooooo!
Love, Mimi
Don't think that any player is less in determination as much as you are. Everyone would like to win the trophy. Take your game seriously, one mistake can cost you dearly. Good luck and please try to control your game with a proper game plan / strategy.
