Round two in London
Roger had to fight in the opening round of the Olympic tournament at the All England Club today, defeating Colombia's Alejandro Falla 6-3, 5-7, 6-3.
"It's great coming back (after winning Wimbledon), but it's so much harder to do it again in the first round knowing that every match for me is like a final. I'm really relieved and hoping to keep it up," Roger said.
Our champ seemed to absolve the first round with ease, when he allowed Falla back into the match after wasting three match points in the second set. He was then pushed hard by the world number 51 in the decider before sealing a tougher than expected win on his fifth match point.
Roger will now face Julien Benneteau in the last 32. Roger had to come from two sets down to win against the Frenchman in this year's Wimbledon.

I know you always start slow but not that slow.
It is hard because it is only 3 sets. Hope you do well next match another hard one good luck love Helen xxxxxx
It looks bit scary in the second set. It was the number of unforced errors giving Falla chances. Hopefully you will overcome these in next match.
Best wishes for you .... Go Fed Go !!!!!
My best wishes for the next match with Benneteau
Be so strong than nothing can disturb your peace of mind.

Congratulations on the first win! The most important is that you have done it! Hope you'll be healthy and fit not only for the today's doubles, but for the rest of the next week as well!
Wish you all the best and good luck dearest Roger! The same to you and Stan today!
Go, Roger, goooooooooooooo!
Love, Mimi
Bravoooooo Rog!
I am sure that each seat could have been sold to real fans at least 10 times or even more. Must have been a first since a very long time for you as well. I hear that the organization is going to solve that problem for the rest of the week.
Good luck this afternoon for the doubles match with Stan and good luck to Stan for his tough first round against Murray.
