Roger and Stan out
Roger and Stan were not able to defend their title in the doubles of the Olympics in London. They were defeated by Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram of Israel 6-1, 6-7(5), 3-6 today.
"I thought we played an excellent first set. Conditions were tough. They were breezy, a lot of shadow on the courts. But that didn't disrupt our great playing," Roger said. "It was a pity we couldn't create a few more, maybe, opportunities throughout the second set. But obviously they found a bit of a way to get back into the match. They definitely played better once sort of the shadow went, all the flags, all the spectator shadows were gone. It was more clean tennis."
Roger and Stan had a brilliant start, breaking their opponents three times in the opening set. But things suddenly turned in the tie-break of the second set, which Erlich/Ram finally took 7-5. Our Swiss team was broken once in the deciding set - enough for the Israelis to hold and thus secure their victory.

BIA – BRASIL :)
Now you can focus on your singles!
Good luck for next match.
Best of wishes Anta.
