Dear fans

 

I am very disappointed that I have to withdraw from Toronto as I love the city and the Canadian fans are amazing. I have always enjoyed playing there but after a long stretch of tournaments, I will need some time to recover. I look forward to coming back to Canada next year.

I understand the need for a break, but I must say I am dissappointed that you will not be attending. I bought tickets in anticipation and hope that I would finally get to see you play live before my eyes...we love you here in Canada too!

Excellent decission Roger, without play you retein de number 1 for more weeks. You only defend and lose 90 points in Canada and Nole defend 1000 points. If Nole win, don´t sum new points in the ranking and you can rest and recover for Cinci and US Open. Congratulations for your silver medal, i hope you win in RIO 2016 !!!

Roger, I wish you had won the gold medal but it was not meant to be. You are still the best and you have your singles medal. Silver is great also. Congratulations! You are our best hero ever.

Well done on winning the silver medal, I am from Great Britain and whilst I am pleased Andy finally won a final at Wimbledon, I wish it had not been you that he beat! Have a nice rest and a very happy birthday for Wednesday.
