Cincinnati: The draw
The result of the draw for the Masters-1000 tournament in Cincinnati is quite favourable for Roger.
After a first-round bye he will either play his first match against Jarkko Nieminen (ATP 41) or Alex Bogomolow (ATP 58) - he has never lost against either of the two so far. Philipp Kohlschreiber (ATP 18) could then be waiting in the the round of the last 16 and a clash with Juan Monaco (ATP 10) might follow in the quarters. Roger has also been able to defeat these two players every time in the past. David Ferrer (ATP 5, Roger leads the head-to-head 13:0) or Thomas Berdych (ATP 7) could then be waiting in the semis, before his opponent in the final could be defending champion Andy Murray (ATP 4).
Our world number one will be aiming at his fifth victory in Cincinnati after 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2010.

So just concentrate on your own game. If you play your best, none in the field can beat you -- and you know that.
I don't like the ATP front webpage today. It managed to contort the presentation of #s to make it negative. If you reach the final, you are guaranteed to retain the #1 position. If Djokovic reaches the final & not win it, just like last year, then you only need to reach the QF. Your draw is favorable. Djokovic,Murray, del Potro are all on the other side of the draw. Only 1 of them can meet U in the final. Berdych, on your side of the draw, isn't in good form lately.
Just to send you good vibs and best wishes for a great season in the US.
