Quarters in Cincinnati
16.08.2012 | Tennis, Starseite 1
Roger defeated Bernard Tomic 6-2, 6-4 today to earn a spot in the quarter finals of the Cincinnati Masters.
Our champ was barely troubled by Tomic, starting with a break in the very first game and never giving away the lead but rather increasing the gap. Roger never had to defend any break points on the way to his victory today, breaking again in the second set to take a 4-3 lead and then wrap up everything nicely against the young Australian after 62 minutes.
Roger will now play Mardy Fish (ATP 20) - he has won 7 of the 8 matches against the American so far.

love and kisses,
Asad
Go Go Champ!
Good luck in the quarters :)
rooting for you as always, good luck!!!
You are a man on a mission and in a hurry! 2 matches in 2 hours--well done, and congratulations on your wins with some incredible tennis.
In the Tomic match 27 winners and forecourt play outstanding winning 11 of your 12 net approaches.Great serving finishing with an ace.
I am secretly hoping for an all Swiss SF.
However, QF first.Wishing you all of the very best for it against Mardy Fish.
Kindest regards
Margaret
