US Open draw

The US Open 2012 starts next Monday. Roger will meet Donald Young (ATP 80) in the opening round. Roger has never played against the American - who has only won two matches this season - so far.

Roger and Andy Murray wound up on the same side of the draw and could meet in the semifinals for a rematch of their recent finals at Wimbledon and the London Olympics. But before that, Roger could meet Björn Phau (ATP 83) in round two, Fernando Verdasco (ATP 26) in round three, then Gilles Simon (ATP 17) and later Tomas Berdych (ATP 7) in the quarters.

Roger has always reached at least the semis of the US Open since 2004. And even before the tournament has started, our champ has broken yet another record: he is the number one seed for the 23rd time at a Grand Slam tournament - once more than Pete Sampras.

All best love and luck for tomorrow night's match against Donald Young. Just beat him as quickly and easily as possible Roger, wish you had a daytime match so that people in UK didn't have to watch you in middle of night!! The draw looks tough for u Roger. The major threats being Verdasco, Berdych, Andy Murray and of course Novak (has beaten last 2 times). Though even simon is a tricky player.

But then again a champion should never care about his opponents he has to beat the best :) to deserve the title

I hope you are up to the big task CHAMP :))
