In round three with ease

Roger cruised into round three at the US Open with a very clear 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Germany's Bjorn Phau today.

“It was a great match for me,” Roger said after the match. “Bjorn had some incredible shot-making."

Top-seeded Roger needed only 90 minutes to close out the match and showed glimpse of his abilities to outclass Phau in their fourth encounter. He finished with 44 winners to 16 for his overmatched opponent and also with 15 aces.

Roger will play Spain's Fernando Verdasco in the third round on Saturday and said: "The next match with Verdasco will be another tough one. He’s a guy who has been around a long time and had some big wins. He’s a lefty, so that makes things different.”

Congratulations on the stunning Match against Phau. It was a very well played match from both players with low unforced errors. Absolutely brilliant the variety of play you possess in your arsenal. Forty-four winners. That is a good number.

Good luck in your third round match with Vedasco. Stay hungry.

A shock(but not surprising) about Roddick retiring. He is only 30. He no longer has the desire to play.

Gran partido el de ayer mi Roger y felicidades por tu triunfo sobre Phau. Contra Verdasco las cosas van a ser diferentes, como mencionaste el es zurdo, es otro planteamiento; pero sabemos que tu encontrarás la manera de vencerlo. Vamos Roger, gánale a Verdasco, demuestra quien el mejor del mundo, que ya todos lo sabemos; pero gánale. Utiliza tu gran inteligencia, improvisación, maravilloso juego y mantente concentrado y con mucha confianza en ti. Realiza un buen planteamiento con tu equipo.

Congratulations ROGER!!!!!!!
As Andy announced his retirement, I remembered what he had said about u earlier in his career:
Roger is the most talented player, but he has the luxury of getting bored sometimes, that's why he loses.

Keep going, Roger. Keep shining your best to rule USO this year. Wishing you & your team will come up with brilliance tactics & game plans to win over Verdasco in three. Anyway, be careful with him, coz he's a dangerous player. Always stay calm & focus to execute your aggressive consistency packs to quick outlast him in three.
Just do it. Just beat him.
