Roger and Amélie Mauresmo received the International Tennis Writers Association's Player of the Year and Ambassador for Tennis awards this Tuesday. It is already the third consecutive year that Roger has won both honors.
Our number one won a tour-high 12 titles in 2006, including three Grand Slams: Wimbledon, the U.S. Open and Australian Open. Mauresmo won her first major titles this season, at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
ITWA also praised the players for their efforts to bring new fans to tennis and to promote the sport.

Ive been on the waiting list since it appeared on the atp site. TY store doesnt ship to south africa and that leaves me buying the bears at double the cost on e-bay!! Thats a bum deal! especially when fedex is so concerned about south afr
