Tennis writers' awards
07.12.2006 | Tennis
Roger and Amélie Mauresmo received the International Tennis Writers Association's Player of the Year and Ambassador for Tennis awards this Tuesday. It is already the third consecutive year that Roger has won both honors.
Our number one won a tour-high 12 titles in 2006, including three Grand Slams: Wimbledon, the U.S. Open and Australian Open. Mauresmo won her first major titles this season, at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
ITWA also praised the players for their efforts to bring new fans to tennis and to promote the sport.

I thought this is about charity, but it appears to be about entirely other things...
See you soon in Australia . . .
Enjoy your time off . . .
I commend you for being you . . .
All the best for the holidays!
