Roger notched up a 6-3, 6-4 victory against Marin Cilic at the Shanghai Rolex Masters and will now play Andy Murray in semis.

Roger was always in control of the match: he won the first set after only 36 minutes by breaking Cilic three times. All in all, it took Roger 1 hour 24 minutes to win this encounter, as he shot nine aces and 26 winners.

Next up is Andy Murray who sent Radek Stepanek home in three sets.

To be honest,you are not playing your normal game in this tournament, quality has dropped ,your main weapon is not strong enough. You need to play an aggressive game with confidence to beat Andy, we know you can do it. Please take enough time between the serve and be mentally strong ,remembering you have nothing to loose because you have already made tennis history. Beat him and keep us happy, Roger. Well done against Marvin today Roger, now for AM in the semis! Is it cool out there this year?? Steve Ullrich was well covered up as well as you. Would be really good if you beat him but quite understand if you want to save something for Basel and WTF.
