Semis against Murray

Roger notched up a 6-3, 6-4  victory against Marin Cilic at the Shanghai Rolex Masters and will now play Andy Murray in semis.

Roger was always in control of the match: he won the first set after only 36 minutes by breaking Cilic three times. All in all, it took Roger 1 hour 24 minutes to win this encounter, as he shot nine aces and 26 winners.

Next up is Andy Murray who sent Radek Stepanek home in three sets.

It is not his day today his service is too weak 30 percent on the second serve
is not enough against Murray nor Djokovic it was obvious that he would not play
the final his game is not on TOP yet

Hold your breath, cool down, concentrate on effective shot making & plan your next move accordingly. Stick to your serve! Create angles and drop shots with precision timing. Hit hard but not too hard. You need to play your best !!! We are with you!!!

After securing the 300-week period on top of the rankings (what an accomplishment, by the way), you were able to play a good match and move through to the semis.

The week has been so positive so far, specially if we consider the month you rested. Tonight you have a really difficult game against Andy. I just hope you can find your pace since the beginning and play some great tennis out there.
