Semis against Murray

Roger notched up a 6-3, 6-4  victory against Marin Cilic at the Shanghai Rolex Masters and will now play Andy Murray in semis.

Roger was always in control of the match: he won the first set after only 36 minutes by breaking Cilic three times. All in all, it took Roger 1 hour 24 minutes to win this encounter, as he shot nine aces and 26 winners.

Next up is Andy Murray who sent Radek Stepanek home in three sets.

Good game today champ, you knew what you needed to do and executed it perfectly, tomorrow is time to step up the speed and the angling and Murray should be yours, there is a defeat to avenge and you always play better when you need tob settle a score so hopefully tomorrow you will play flawlessly again.
