Roger in quarters
The world No. 1 and home favourite is bidding to win his sixth Swiss Indoors crown, and enters this year's tournament as defending champion. Only once has Roger failed to take home the trophy since he first triumphed in 2006, and he survived a second-set blip to win 6-3, 6-7(6), 7-5 against Bellucci.
Roger went into a 3-0 lead within 10 minutes. As is typical of a champs performance, a solitary break was all he needed to close out the set, although he did have to save two break points against him as he attempted to serve it out. Bellucci fought back early in the second, taking Roger to a tie break after games had gone with serve. Bellucci stormed into a 6-2 lead to create four set points. Our Champ saved all four but eventually relented as the Brazilian levelled the match. Forced to a third set, Roger came out fighting, creating a break point in Bellucci's first service game. He failed to convert on that occasion but eventually made the decisive breakthrough helped by a Bellucci double fault. By this time Roger was back in control and closed out the match delighting his fans who had been sitting on the edge of their seats for the last two sets.
Roger will meet the winner of Lukasz Kubot and Benoit Paire in the last eight.

Please do not rush to serve, also take enough time between the serve

We see another great champion of your age retiring - Juan Carlos Ferrer at age 32 after seeing Safin and Andy Roddick (age 30) gone. Next retiring champion of your age will probably Hewitt (31 now). But you are still world number 1 at age 31! You have been winning grand slam titles from the next generation for some time. Are you ageless? I love it!
Good luck, my Champion and get to the top in few day. Wishing you the best.
Blessing and guidance from God I ask.
Love you a lot.

I guess Bellucci is becoming a top player, and he isn't the only one on your way to the final. You might soon meet another hope, Dimitrov but I'm convinced you will find the right way to beat him or whoever plays on the other side... Yes, more hocus-pocus.
Thanks for the beautifull show in a full hall.
Congratulations! It's important for you to keep winning in Basel! Your next opponent is a really tough one! He has nothing to lose, you have. I hope you are healthy and fit enough for him!
Wish you all the best and good luck dearest Roger!
Go, Roger, gooooooooooooo!
Love, Mimi
